Filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan has revealed plans for a possible collaboration with singer Wizkid who is presently on holiday in Nigeria. The rave-making Afrobeats artiste made an appearance at Afolayan’s KAP Hub last Saturday, bringing his vibrant energy to the heart of the creative space.
The purpose of his visit, according to information, was to have a special, honorary meeting with the director, and to delve into exciting partnership possibilities.
According to Afolayan, Wizkid’s visit to the KAP Hub turned an ordinary Saturday into an extraordinary affair.
“He took the time to engage with the hub’s creative atmosphere, adding his unique flair to the lively ambience and creating an unforgettable moment for everyone present. Wizkid’s visit was more than just a celebrity appearance; it was a celebration of the synergy between music, art, and creativity,” the filmmaker said in a statement.
He further noted that the visit of the Afrobeats superstar to the Hub further solidifies it as a thriving epicentre for collaboration and innovation in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has rolled out the terms and conditions for his going into acting. The Grammy-winning artiste expressed his desire to embrace roles that involve kissing scenes and handling firearms in movies.
He disclosed this intention through his Instagram story, stating in Pidgin, “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film! I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all.”
Additionally, Wizkid hinted at the possibility of extending his hiatus from music, initially planned for three to four years, now contemplating a stretch to six years.
