The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has pegged its expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants seeking the party’s ticket for the Edo State governorship election at N50 million.
A schedule of activities and timetable for the election signed by the APC national organising secretary, Suleiman Argungu, and posted to the party’s verified X handle on Monday night, indicated that the party’s primary would hold on February 17.
The timetable also indicated that female aspirants and Persons With Disability (PWD) would buy the expression of interest form while the nomination form would be issued to them for free.
Similarly, youths between the ages of 25 and 40, are to purchase the expression of interest form and enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the nomination form.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed September 21 for the election.
