Notable on the list of these institutions is the University of Lagos, Akoka where an Associate Professor and Assistant Pastor at a Foursquare Church branch, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu was caught in the act.
An undercover journalist had disguised as an admission seeker, with secret cameras placed in the lecturer’s office. In a no-holds-barred attempt to exchange admission into the university for sex, he went on revealing his conviction skills in ripping female students of their bodies for marks.
A section of the video, released by the BBC Africa Eye sees Dr. Boniface saying ”lock the door and let me kiss you for one minute.” He explained how he can help the female admission seeker gain admission with his position in the school.
A lecturer of the French Department, Faculty of Arts of UNILAG, he said the Senior Staff Club of the university has a lodge that is called ”Cold Room” and it is there all the bad escapades with students happen. He said lecturers romance and smooch students in the ‘cold room’.
The BBC has stated that the university has since distanced itself from the scandal, while Boniface, the lecturer in question has failed to answer their calls
