Popular filmmaker and clergyman, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has told husbands the right step they should take if their wives are not submissive.
He spoke in a lengthy post on his Instagram page.
According to him, when a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud, and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demands her to respect her husband and be submissive to him.
He stated that there is no way a woman who lives in perpetual disobedience to the laws of God can make heaven no matter how spiritual she may look before people.
He urged men to keep holding on to the Lord, noting that he has seen women becoming completely transformed and highly submissive to the man and becoming helpful in his ministry.
He added that he has seen such a woman becoming a royal gem in the hand of her husband, after a long time of struggles in a contentious marriage.
He further admonished the men to keep praying for their wives, loving them, and keep playing their own spiritual roles of a Godly man.
Bamiloye said: “When a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud, and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demanded from her to respect her husband and be submissive to him, as the Head, just as the Church does to Christ.
“When a woman chooses to punish a man by denying him access to her body, when the Bible says a wife should not do so in I Corinthians 7, she has broken the Commandment of the Lord and sinned against God.
“When a woman is trying to be the head of the home when God says it is the spiritual role of the man, but trying to take over the control of the home, demanding that whatever she says must be done, turning the husband into a puppet; such woman has flagrantly discarded the law of the Most High God by disrespecting and dishonouring her husband.
“Now, when a woman lives like this, be on the Lord’s side. Such is definitely working for the devil, no matter how dedicated she may be to the service of the Lord. Even some Pastors’ wives are in this category. They believe their husbands are hooked and caged; they believe the man would never do anything to tarnish the name of the Lord or allow any scandal to their long-term ministry, SO HE DARE NOT CRY OUT, therefore, they maltreat the men at home and call the shot at home while the man calls the shot in the church. Some ministers of God are crying inside their hearts while they smile at their church congregations.
“There is no way a woman who lives in perpetual disobedience to the laws of god can make heaven, however spiritual she may look before people.
“What is my last word to the men who are in the cage of contentious women, keep holding on to the Lord. I have seen such women becoming completely transformed and highly submissive to the man and becoming helpful in his ministry. I have seen such woman becoming a royal gem in the hand of her husband, after a long time of struggles in a contentious marriage. God can do it. Let the woman become your prayer point. Keep loving her. Keep playing your own spiritual roles of a Godly man: love her, cherish and honour her, and keep praying for her. So that you don’t lose your soul. May the Lord heal such a marriage.”
Popular Kannywood actress, Amal Umar, has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court No. 24 in Gyadi-Gyadi area of Kano metropolis.
The actress was accused of attempted bribery involving the sum of N250,000 offered to a police officer identified as ASP Salisu Bujama of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Zone 1 headquarters in Kano State.
According to the prosecutor, the alleged bribe was aimed at halting Police investigation into alleged financial misappropriation perpetrated by the actress’ boyfriend, identified as Ramadan Inuwa.
The saga unfolded when a complaint was filed by one Alhaji Yusuf Adamu through his lawyer, H.I. Dederi, to the Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Umar Mohd Sanda, on August 18, 2022, detailing how Ramadan Inuwa allegedly misappropriated a substantial amount of money, totalling N40million, in his cell phone business
The petition led to a subsequent police investigation, which revealed that N13million was transferred to the Kannywood actress Amal Umar’s bank account by Inuwa.
According to the spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force, Zone 1, Kano, CSP Bashir Muhammed, the actress was consequently summoned for questioning and was thereafter granted bail, but was not allowed to leave in a car allegedly purchased by her boyfriend.
The actress confessed that the money in her bank account belonged to her boyfriend, though she claimed that he only transferred N8million to her
Following her bail, Amal Umar sought legal redress by approaching the High Court of Kano State to halt further police investigations against her.
The court’s decision temporarily restrained the police from pursuing the investigation against the actress, a development that allegedly provided an opportunity for Amal to attempt to bribe the Police investigator, ASP Salisu Bujama.
The attempt was thwarted by the Police, who arrested the actress with evidence of the alleged bribery, leading to her subsequent arraignment before the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
The offence allegedly committed by the Kannywood actress violates Section 118 of the Penal Code, which prohibits the bribery of a police officer
The family of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has expressed their dismay over the prolonged detention of their son despite numerous appeals and court orders for his release, describing it as a humiliation not only for their son but also for the entire Igbo race.
The family which was reacting to the recent refusal of Abuja Federal High Court to grant Kanu’s bail application, expressed furry over the ruling of the court and the fate of their son.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, alleged that some selfish politicians who are benefiting from the insecurity in the South East, are behind Kanu’s continued detention.
He wondered why it had become so difficult for Igbo political elite and leaders to book appointment for an audience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to discuss Kanu’s matter nearly one year when the President took over power.
” How be it nobody among Igbo political leaders has reached Tinubu to discuss Nnamdi Kanu’s release almost a year he came to power?
” Is it not deliberate? Have they not been gaining access to the President concerning other issues? It’s a shame that Kanu is being punished for asking for the freedom of Ndigbo and the leaders have abandoned him to die in DSS custody.
” Kanu is terribly sick and nobody cares! His health is deteriorating everyday. He has not changed his clothe. Why has the court continued to hold him at DSS custody instead of Correctional Centre?”
Kanu’s family insisted that some people are benefiting from his continued incarceration hence the apparent apathy on the part of the political elite to engage the President for his release.
” Why can’t they go for his release if they truly love the South East? Something is definitely wrong somewhere. They are benefiting from his continued detention, and that’s why they are not making any serious move to engage Mr President. Don’t forget that some people sponsored his abduction and extraordinary rendition.
” Why should he be abandoned for asking the freedom of Biafra? He didn’t take up arms against Government but he was tagged a terrorist. Yet the same Government is busy releasing terrorists from detention.”
The family threatened to expose the beneficiaries of their son’s continued incarceration and the insecurity in the South East region.
According to the family, those behind Kanu’s ordeals would be held accountable by the Igbo nation and Biafrans at large should anything untoward happen to him.
“If they fail to act, Ndigbo and Biafrans at large must hold them responsible. And it may get to a point where the masses may no longer be held back.
” Nobody dies with any secret. Very soon all those behind Kanu’s continued detention will be exposed. Those benefiting from the insecurity in the South East are the ones enjoying his continued stay in detention. But nothing lasts forever. One day they will be out of power.”
The family expressed furry that Kanu who on his own had assisted in getting justice for illegally detained inmates had been left to suffer alone.
” Kanu has single handedly funded the release of inmates from different tribes who were unjustly detained while he was at Kuje prison last time. Why should he be now abandoned to rot in DSS custody?”
Kanu’s family further expressed sadness over the refusal of Justice Binta Nyako to grant him bail.
The family wondered if the trial Judge had taken time to go through the certified true copy (CTC), of the Supreme Court ruling on the matter which held that the Federal High Court ought not to have revoked Kanu’s bail in the first place.
According to the family, if truly the trial Judge had digested the CTC of the Supreme Court judgment, the court would not have denied him his bail application at the last hearing on Monday.
Kanu’s family argued that the IPOB Leader “is never afraid of standing trial”, but only regretted that “the conditions they subjected him to do not guarantee justice”.
” Why can’t they allow him to change his clothes? Why will they keep him in DSS custody for years instead of sending him to Kuje Correctional Centre where he can have access to his doctors?
” Has the court bothered to know if its orders are obeyed by the DSS? The way Kanu is being humiliated and handled does not show fairness. The court should not create the impression that it’s acting a script”.

Whatever Bill You Bring To National Assembly Will Be Passed, House Of Reps Speaker Assures President Tinubu
AFOLABIThe Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has said that whatever bill President Bola Tinubu's administration brings to the National Assembly will be passed.
Abass made this known while speaking during a dinner hosted by the President for over 60 members of the House of Representatives to break the Ramadan fast.
The Speaker recalled that the recent bills that came from the presidency were treated expeditiously in the House.
He affirmed that what they did was not far from a miracle, noting that the delivery of a bill within 48 hours is not an easy task.
According to him, this was done because the lawmakers respected the President.
According to a video posted by Channels Television on its X handle on Thursday, the Speaker asserted that there were no voices in the House against the President and his policies.
He said, "Your Excellency, if I tell you that this in this month of Ramadan, we are breaking our fast for the 10th time and if you look at your administration, it is in the 10th month. So this is a very divine day, a day that God has gathered us to make things happen, for miracle to happen for this country to go forward.
"So it's our prayer, Your Excellency, that this meeting will open a better chapter of the relationship between the executive and House in such a way that we would continue to work in synergy, in unity on purpose between the two of us. So far so good Your Excellency, the House is very supportive of you, the House loves you very well, and there is hardly any dissenting voice in the House today and yesterday against you for any of your policies.
"The House has always supported what you do and we shall continue to strive in ensuring that we operate as one - the executive and the legislature together. We want to ensure that whatever you bring will see the light of the day, both in the House of Representatives and in the Senate.
"You can see an example of the acid test of members’ support and solidarity. Just within the last three, four days, about three bills came from the Presidency and they were all expected to be treated expeditiously.
“And the House and the Senate did not relent, Your Excellency, in ensuring that we delivered a miracle because what we did is just short of being called a miracle – delivering bills within 48 hours is not an easy task but that is exactly what the National Assembly did because of the sheer respect it has for you.
"So this is what we want to continue, this is what sustain in the months and years to come.”

Understanding Staking and Decentralized Finance at Biafra Buy/Stake Inc
What does Staking entail?
Staking within the realm of cryptocurrency involves the act of securing or immobilizing a designated quantity of tokens in a digital wallet to actively support the functionality and governance of a blockchain network. In exchange for their involvement, participants earn incentives, usually in the form of supplementary tokens. It parallels the concept of accruing interest in a conventional banking setting, albeit within the context of blockchain technology.
What Rewards Can I Obtain Through Staking with USBT?
With the USBT staking program, you can earn rewards on their staked tokens with our structured framework:
– After a 0-hours lockup period, you start receiving rewards based on the ROI at the time of your initial investment.
What Risks Should I Be Aware of When Staking?
Although staking presents opportunities for rewards, it’s essential to consider potential risks:
– Market Volatility: Fluctuations in token value due to market conditions may affect the final value of staked tokens, potentially resulting in gains or losses.
– Liquidity Concerns: Tokens committed to staking are not readily available for trading or liquidation, which could pose challenges if immediate access to funds is required.
– Smart Contract Vulnerabilities: Inherent to blockchain activities, smart contracts governing staking operations may contain bugs or vulnerabilities, exposing staked assets to potential risks.
Legal Disclaimer
Blockchain investments, including staking, are subject to high market risk. Biafra Buy/Stake Inc. does not guarantee any returns on staking investments. We advise our community members to exercise due diligence and caution and to invest responsibly within their financial limits.
What is Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ?
Decentralized Finance (DeFi) embodies a suite of financial services built atop blockchain technology, primarily leveraging Ethereum. These platforms facilitate lending, borrowing, trading, and yield farming of cryptocurrencies, eliminating the necessity for conventional financial intermediaries such as banks. DeFi endeavours to establish an inclusive, transparent, and accessible financial ecosystem.
Additional Points to Note:
– Network Support: Staking plays a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and security of the blockchain network. Your active involvement contributes to its overall robustness.
– Tax Considerations: Keep in mind that staking rewards might trigger tax obligations depending on your jurisdiction. Seek guidance from a tax professional for tailored advice.
– Educational Resources: We advocate for the utilization of educational materials to gain a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, staking mechanisms, and DeFi protocols.
Remember, your engagement in staking and DeFi transcends mere investment; it signifies a commitment to fostering a decentralized future. This aligns with the mission of Biafra Coin Inc. to empower communities through renewable energy solutions and equitable financial frameworks.

Rich Nigerians Spend Money On Parties Instead Of Helping Their Poor Neighbours - First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu Laments
AFOLABINigerian First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu has berated rich citizens in the country for showing a lack of empathy for the plights of the indigent people among them.
The former lawmaker said this in an interview with Arise News, in which she blamed rich Nigerians for preferring to spend huge amounts of money on parties to rendering help to their neighbours in need.
She said, “Nigerians can help each other, the rich are doing parties and all that, why don’t we use the money to help their neighbours?
“Until we can really get on our feet, those are the things we have to look at. It is not that the government has to begin to give food to everybody. I believe in social development and social investment for people who really need it. And in the bible, they even talked about it. In the time of Jesus, they even said the poor will always be in the land, and it is for you people who God has blessed to help the poor.
“But now, you don’t know who are poor, if they don’t drive a car, they will say they are poor, if they don’t have their own home, they will say they are poor.”
The first lady in January urged Nigerians to intensify their prayers to seek God’s intervention in the security crisis facing the country.
She said this while reacting to the rescue of five sisters of the Al-Kadriyar family who were kidnapped in the Bwari area of Abuja.
The first lady described prayers as the solution to the incessant kidnappings carried out by terrorists, bandits and other criminals across the country.
According to the first lady, prayers should be considered as the first weapon Nigeria has to curb insecurity and it should not be taken with levity henceforth.

Why I am yet to address Yvonne Nelson’s cheating allegations about me and Tonto Dikeh – Iyanya
AFOLABISinger Iyanya has explained why he has not responded to an allegation made by his former girlfriend, actress Yvonne Nelson that he cheated on her with their colleague, Tonto Dikeh.
Yvonne made the allegation in her explosive book I Am Not Yvonne Nelson launched in June 2023 in Ghana.
Iyanya’s romance with Yvonne hit the rocks in 2015 after the pair began dating in July 2012 and were spotted together at functions.
Responding to the actress’s claim, the musician said in a tweet that he would speak on it at a later date but not in a book. He however went silent on the matter.
But in a recent interview on The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Iyanya said he endorsed the book without knowing the content.
The singer, who had promised to address Yvonne’s allegations last year when the book came out, stated that he is still not ready to respond to his ex-girlfriend’s infidelity allegations.
He noted that they are still on good terms and communicate regularly.
Iyanya said:
“I endorsed Yvonne Nelson’s book without knowing I was in the book. We were cool, we still talk to this day, so I didn’t know that I was in the book. When the book came out, everywhere was buzzing. People were telling me I am in the book. But I have not read it till now.
“I know I promised to address the allegations she made in her book, but I’m not ready to respond. I’m not going to respond to stuff like that, being me comes with a lot of madness.”

Controversial Islamic cleric, Shiekh Ahmad Gumi has insisted that terrorists are financing themselves through proceeds from kidnappings.
Gumi faulted the list of terrorist financiers released by the Federal Government, which included his closed ally, Tukur Mamu.
The Nigerian Intelligence Financial Unit, NFIU, had released a list of 15 financiers of terrorism, including nine individuals and six Bureau De Change, BDC, operators.
The list was entitled ‘Designation of Individuals and Entities for March 18, 2024’.
However, Gumi said security agents had no right to name anyone as a terrorist financier.
Speaking during a Twitter Space organised by Daily Trust, the Islamic scholar said: “These people are financing themselves by taking our children for ransom.
“So, how can we say some people are financing terrorism because there is a misunderstanding between them?
“Now they are looking for N1 billion for these children (kidnap victims) to be released. They (terrorists) financed themselves by kidnapping. I think it’s rubbish to just frame your political opponents as financing terrorism.”
